This year to promote the BBC's Do Something Great campaign, which was created to inspire the younger generation to engage with conservation issues, the RSPB adopted mobile video content to promote volunteering opportunities at their reserves.
Embracing video as a core element of our outreach strategy enabled us to maximise our relationships with news broadcasters, online press and social media audiences. The films were recorded on mobile devices to test the possibility of utilising user generated content in the future.
